After a short stop, replacement of GPS for a new Garmin 795, and an overnight stay in Fort Lauderdale, Sergey Ananov continued his trip around the world. Along the way, Sergey visited our academy, communicated with helicopter course students and spoke about his journey and experience.
Today, he travelled 27 955 km in roughly 207 hours and 10 minutes (within 5 calendar weeks), there are still a few weeks to travel across the US, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Europe.
To remind you, Sergei sets the world record for distance in the world tour on a light helicopter grade 1 MTOW.
We wish you the best of luck in your travels
