We are glad to introduce our transition course for aircraft pilots who want to be trained to fly a helicopter. This course includes fewer theoretical hours, but requires the very same amount of flight time as the basic private pilot course – 40 hours.
Normally, it’s not a big deal for aircraft pilots to switch to helicopter flights, but there are some serious and significant differences in helicopter piloting, especially during hovering or in a case of engine failure. All these require practice and refinement of the art of helicopter piloting.
Having a license for two types of flying machines – helicopter and aircrafts, gives you new possibilities and allows you to use all possible ways of traveling by air. The aircraft is perfect for flights over long distances at high altitude, while the helicopter is the best choice for short flights at low altitude and has the ability to land virtually any place.
