We are excited to introduce a new course at our SkyEagle Aviation Academy in South Florida!
On May 15th we launched a new program – Jet Transition Course on LearJet 35. This is a unique opportunity to get training and flight experience on real business jet! We don`t use a simulator for the training; instead, we use a real plane with an experienced captain as an instructor.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, the student will receive an SIC endorsement on their license, which grants Second in Command privileges on LearJet models 23, 24, 25, 28, 31, 35, 36 and 55.

This rating gives the opportunity for both newly-minted commercial pilots and experienced piston/turboprop pilots to have an advantage with companies providing part 91/part 135 flights. Unlike Part 121 Airline pilots, commercial 91/135 First Officers do not require an ATP or 1,500 hours; it is possible to find a First Officer position with far fewer hours, making it an attractive way to build time and earn money.
