Our Academy has everything necessary to provide quality airmanship training for students. We have experienced and qualified instructors as well as a standardized educational process. We supply everything you need for a quality education.
You can’t train pilots without an aircraft. Almost all of the aircraft, which we use for training, belong to us. We have our own private fleet and our own technical base for service operations and fleet maintenance. We strive to keep our fleet uniform in order to provide interoperability, when one of the aircraft is on maintenance.
Our aircraft pass all the necessary inspections in accordance with the requirements from manufacturers and the FAA. We carry out not only the required100-hours inspections, but also 50-hours maintenance work.
Our aircraft are used for certified training programs; therefore, they are checked by the FAA inspectors and are approved for training purposes.
We avoid using older aircraft. We prefer aircraft under 15 years. Our “oldest” aircraft was manufactured in 2001. Usually training schools can’t use modern equipment, because it’s extremely expensive. The vast majority of planes in Florida flight school fleets have flown for more than 30 years. We can’t say that such planes are unreliable, but we prefer to keep our fleet at the highest level.
Our spacious Academy is located in the Executive Airport business center. Students have several classrooms, briefing rooms, and offices at their disposal. Our office is also equipped with a small kitchen, vending machines, coffee machines, and everything necessary for a fast lunch.
Despite the fact that Florida has 320 sunny days, which makes it possible to fly almost every day, we still have days with thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds, which causes us to cancel training flights. But that’s not a reason to stay at home! Our students have two modern exercise machines,, one classical FTD (FAA-certified), and the newest RedBird exercise machine. It is mounted on a moving platform and allows setup of 35 various vessel types (including multi-engine).
Our Academy is located at the unique Fort Lauderdale Executive airport. This airport is famous for its balance – it’s not overloaded, but not empty, there are no regular flights, but it offers a lot of business jet operations. The airport performs up to 400 take-offs and landing during the day and is equipped with all necessary elements for proper training flights.
