Our Private Pilot Training Course is an FAA certified course, in accordance with Part 141. This course was checked and accepted by the FAA for compliance with educational quality standards and private pilot training.
We have offered this course for more than 4 years, but in 2014 it received the Part 141 certificate. This certification allows you to save time and funds, because students who study in accordance with Part 141 need fewer flight hours and ground training hours.
Who is a private pilot? It is an individual who has an ultimate freedom – the luxury of flying (almost) whenever and where ever they choose. No commercial airline ticket, no TSA security check, waiting at the gate, waiting for luggage to come at baggage claim. Just get in a go. When you have a Private Pilot License you may buy or rent a plane or a helicopter for business, pleasure, or really anything. Take a fun journey with your friends, relax and clear your head with a beautiful flight. Enjoy a family flight to see your friends in a different city. Perhaps take a fascinating journey to the Bahamas, Key West, or the Rocky Mountains. Many people use aircraft as convenient method of transportation for their businesses. The FAA Private Pilot License lets you fly not only in the USA, but also in any country. The FAA license is considered to be the most reliable and may be easily convertible into virtually any national license.
This course contains three different stages. Each of them includes obligatory ground and flight training. Each stage is followed by a test given by a chief pilot assistant or an instructor. All the classes are carried out in accordance with a certified training program. At the SkyEagle Academy we use the most popular and reliable Jeppesen course.
The examination consists of theoretical and practical sections. During the theoretical part, the student talks with the examiner and answers all possible questions about the instrument course. Generally this part takes around 2-2.5 hours. When this stage is complete, the student and the examiner perform an examination flight, during which the student has to show competent execution of maneuvers in accordance with limits and standards, perform independent radio communication, provide navigation and air navigation safety.
At the end of the exam the student receives his first flight document – the FAA Private Pilot Certificate.
