Would you like to become an Airline Pilot and fly jumbo planes? It is not as difficult as it seems. At our academy you can safely and efficiently become the Airline Transport pilot you have always dreamed of becoming – even if you have never sat in a cockpit before! Most of our successful students began their careers at SkyEagle Aviation. They are training to become paid, professional pilots and that is why we titled this program the “Airline Pilot Program”.
The program includes a robust range of training courses required to obtain a Commercial Pilot License including Instrument Rating and Multi Engine training. Graduates of the program will earn their FAA Commercial Pilot’s License with both single and multi engine ratings. This is the minimum requirement for getting a job in an airline or a charter company.
Stages of program:
After completing the CFI program to satisfaction, the student will then be hired by SkyEagle Aviation Academy. At first, you will fly with our air tours business. We currently have demand for pilots to fly about every day for an hour or two providing tours to locals and tourists. These flights are great for fresh CFIs as you will be interacting with, and providing customer service to all sorts of people in the airplane. Not unlike being a mentor for a CFIs students. After approximately 100 hours of providing tours, the CFI will be given students for flight training. This is CFI experience is critical in building hours and getting ready for the next step in your career. You will provide all sorts of training as your many certifications in flight training will be utilized. Private, Instrument, Commercial single and multi engine, flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks and much more will be highly valued services provided.
While working as a CFI you will be enrolled into your next phase of this program: the jet transition course, CRM or MCC (crew resource management, multi crew course), Airbus 320 familiarization course or LearJet 60 SIC program.
When you close to 1200 hours we will help you to find a great Airline company for your next step – Cadet program with Airlines. We have partnership with dozens of airlines who hiring highly professional pilots.
We will provide you with ATP-CTP course and ATP license (with or without type rating). Having ATP license highly increase your chances to be hired. If you have A320 or B737 type rating, you probably one of the best candidates for large Airlines.
If you want to become the airline pilot you’ve dreamed to be then this is the course for you!
Now you can see the steps of your Airline Career in details.
This course includes 35 hours of ground instruction and 35 hours of flight time. After these hours are completed then the student will pass a written, oral, and practical exam with an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) who will award the student with an FAA Private Pilot’s License after the passing of these three exams. Congratulations, you are a licensed pilot!
Immediately after the completion of the Private Pilot Program, the student proceeds the Instrument Rating Program which allows the student to gain the skills and experience necessary to perform instrument operations in conditions of reduced visibility. This rating is absolutely necessary for all pilots who dream of working in the field of civil aviation, most if not all commercial flights are flow under “instrument flying rules.” The program includes 30 hours of ground school and 35 hours of flight (on simulators and on an airplane equipped for instrument flight).
After these hours are complete, the student will pass a written, oral, and practical exam with a DPE who will award the student with an Instrument Rating Airplane. You will not receive a new pilot’s license but instead will receive a certification applied to your Private Pilot License.
While training for the instrumental course, the student can begin training for their Commerical Pilot License, which saves time and also money! Our Part 141 Commercial Pilot License curriculum includes 120 flight hours of total flight time and 35 hours of advanced ground school. A large portion of this curriculum also includes solo flight with required certain milestones for certain flights. Because these flights are solo, the student will save thousands of dollars because they will not pay the rate for the airplane and the instructor.
Training under this program is carried out on various aircraft to improve flight skills and in accordance with FAA requirements. The student must fly at least 10 hours in our Piper Arrow. The reason is because this airplane has retractable landing gear, a constant speed propeller, and flaps. These three characteristics of the airplane require a special “Complex” endorsement added to your logbook.
In addition to obtaining the license of a commercial pilot of a single-engine aircraft, it is also necessary to obtain a rating for multi-engine aircraft; this is called the Multi Engine rating. This rating is required for every pilot who plans to switch to more serious and more powerful aircraft. To obtain a multi-engine rating, we use Beechcraft Dutchess, Piper Seneca and other twin-engine light aircraft.
One of the most popular variant of career development and time building for future airline career in the USA is the work of a certified flight instructor. Our instructor Academy will prepare instructors according to the wide range of certificates, specified by the United States Federal Aviation Regulations for planes and helicopters:
Jet transition course
This opportunity gives the student a unique chance to train and receive practical experience of flying on a real business jet. We don’t use our simulator for this course, but only real planes with experienced instructors.
This course contains: 2 days of theoretical preparation for LR-JET (based on the LearJet 60). 2 hours of practical preparation in the Learjet 60 with performance of duties of the second pilot. An examination on the systems and limitations of the aircraft. By the end of this course the student obtains the SIC (Second-in-Command) permit it his or her commercial pilot license, which allows flying as the second pilot in the whole LearJet aircraft family. This course will also allow the graduate to better present his future work, decide on a choice – stay in small aircraft, aim for business aviation or for civil aviation and passenger transportation.
AIRBUS 320 JET ORIENTATION COURSE
Also you can go through additional training on a full flight A320 simulator with an experienced Airbus instructor. We offer this course as an introduction to next level – 20 hours of ground on aircraft systems and 10 hours on the simulator will allow you to create a complete picture of how a large aircraft flies, what procedures are performed at each stage of the flight and how crew members work with each other performing their duties.
This course will also allow the graduate to better present his future work, decide on a choice – stay in small aircraft, aim for business aviation or for civil aviation and passenger transportation.
First step in this stage is ATP-CTP course. It’s a 7 days program including 4 days of ground school and 10 hours of SIM session in our great Airbus 320 FFS.
After the completion of ATP-CTP course, the candidate can take the written test in our test center and prepare for a checkride with FAA-examiner.
US Federal Aviation Regulations allow to have the Pilot Airline License without Type-rating on a particular type of aircraft. This option is suitable for most pilots, who have more than 1,500 flight hours and do not claim to work on a particular aircraft type or the candidates who have not yet decided which type of the aircraft to continue their career. Most of the charter operators with aircraft less than 12,500 pounds do not require a Type-rating on a particular type. In this very case, we offer a short training program on the aircraft Beechcraft Duchess BE-76, in the amount of 7-10 flight hours and the ground classes necessary to become familiar with this type of aircraft and to prepare for the checkride. The examination passes on the same plane, and after that the candidate receives a certificate of US ATP multi-engine land airplane without specifying the type.
In case if the candidate exactly knows what type of aircraft he will continue his career, the combination of ATP checkride and obtaining admission to a particular type of aircraft is possible.
